Company established, with a factory built in Daito-cho, Ogasagun, Shizuoka, Japan. Began heat treatment of magnetic materials (used for cassette tape magnetic head substrates, etc.) and aluminum casting parts for automobile engine heads. |

With the spread of GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) technology, started production of CO2 arc welding torches and TIG welding torches to meet the needs of welding sites. |

Expanded manufacturing of equipment related to arc welding robots. In December of the same year, started production of welding fume collector systems designed to efficiently remove hazardous fumes generated during welding, contributing to a safer and more comfortable working environment. |

Relocated head office and factory to Hamamatsu Technological Industrial Complex in Okubo-cho, Chuo-ku, Hamamatsu-shi, Shizuoka, Japan. The industrial complex, developed by Shizuoka Prefecture and Hamamatsu City, provides an excellent transport and logistics environment, making it an ideal location for manufacturing. This relocation strengthened production capacity and expanded R&D functions. |

Completed the second expansion project within the Hamamatsu Technological Industrial Complex and commenced operation of a new factory. |
| December 2003 | Began production and sales of arc welding robot torches equipped with shock sensors. |
| September 2004 | Started supplying robot torches MNF to automobile manufacturers. |
| July 2005 | Established Suzhou Tokin Machine & Metal Corporation in Taicang City, Jiangsu, China. |

Launched the high-current water-cooled torch WX702 for shipbuilding and construction machinery manufacturers. |
| April 2010 |
Expanded development and handling of robot peripheral equipment. Released the nozzle cleaning station (for cleaning nozzles and spraying anti-spatter fluid) and the wire changeover system (enabling automatic switching between two different welding wires). |
| May 2014 | Launched the 2WD servo torch, achieving reduced spatter generation. |
| June 2015 | Established Tokin America Corporation in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. |
| February 2016 |
Expanded production system with construction of the third factory adjacent to the existing facility in Hamamatsu Technological Industrial Complex. |
| October 2024 | Launched the 2WD servo torch with direct motor mounting. |
| April 2025 | Introduced 3D printers to begin in-house production of certain resin components. |
